Hometown: Mrs. Visser is a native of Colorado raised in Buena Vista and currently resides in Littleton with her husband Dirk where they have lived for 20 years and raised two children.

Mrs. Visser worked the past 10 years in Jefferson County secondary schools, including 7 years at the Transition School where her primary duties included supporting kids and young adults with special needs by teaching self-advocacy, safety, problem solving and advising and modeling behaviors to reflect the same. Provided training in the use of public transportation, served as a job coach and mentor, as well as teaching life skills. Prior to entering the education system, she worked in the mortgage Industry and proudly served 12 years in the army where she was able to experience other cultures by traveling to many other countries. Mrs. Visser enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and puppies.
